Michelle Greysen is a passionate story teller! Her writings cross over from professional to personal, span fiction to non, bridging genres and traversing lifetimes.   

With a corporate career background in newspaper and magazine publishing Michelle has also been a professional freelance writer for decades with many bylines and cover stories to her credit.  Although a non-fiction freelance writer for hire, her love of writing is fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry. She has a published poetry chapbook, First New Forbidden True, and has had multiple published fiction works in The Prairie Journal, garnering award nominations. Michelle has studied at Sage Hill Writing School in Saskatchewan and a writing residency at Wallace Stegner House.
As a long standing member of the Writers’ Guild of Alberta, Michelle has sat on the WGA board, as well as past board member and past National President of PWAC (Professional Writers Association of Canada). When not writing, Michelle is also a top producer award winning busy Realtor in Lethbridge and southern Alberta. This 2020/21 year Michelle has revived the Lethbridge Writing Group she initiated years back and through support of the WGA as the area designated Regional Facilitator she is focusing on supporting writers and growing Guild membership across the southern province.
Michelle is currently in the 2021/2022 Simon Fraser University writing Certificate program in The Writer's Studio.
